What you need

Ingredients for Base

  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast • 700g
  • Garlic Powder • 2 tsp

  • Cornstarch • 30g

Ingredients for Glaze

  • Soy Sauce/Liquid Amino • 50mL
  • Water • 50mL
  • Honey • 25g
  • Gochujang (or Sriracha/Tomato Paste) • 40g
  • Opcional Finishing Sauce
  • Minced Garlic • 2 tsp
  • Soy Sauce/Liquid Amino • 1 tbsp
  • Honey • 1 tbsp

How to make it

  1. In a bowl, mix the chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, salt, and cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chicken until cooked through and lightly crisped. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, combine soy sauce, water, honey, and gochujang. Stir and simmer until the glaze is bubbly and slightly thickened.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and toss to coat fully in the glaze.
  5. Optional Finishing Sauce: In a separate small pan, heat garlic, soy sauce, and honey until bubbly. Drizzle over chicken before serving for an extra punch of flavor.
