What you need

Ingredients for Base

  • Banana, Fresh • 78g
  • Quick Cooking Oats • 40g
  • Almond/Coconut Milk • 60mL
  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder • 2 tbsp (10.75g)
  • Cinnamon, Ground • 0.5 tsp (1.3g)
  • Baking Powder • 1 tsp (4.6g)
  • Baking Soda • 0.25 tsp (1.15g)
  • Monk Fruit Sweetener • 48g
  • Chocolate Casein Protein • 15g (half the total protein—save the rest for icing)

Ingredients for Icing

  • Greek Cream Cheese • 28g
  • Chocolate Casein Protein • 15g (remaining half)
  • Monk Fruit Sweetener • to taste (optional)
  • Splash of Almond/Coconut Milk or water for consistency

How to make it

Directions for Donuts

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all donut ingredients except the cream cheese and half the protein powder. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into a greased or silicone donut mold.
  4. Bake for 14-16 minutes or until firm and springy. Let cool.

Directions for Icing

  1. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and the remaining 15g protein powder.
  2. Add a splash of Almond/Coconut Milk (or water) as needed to reach a spreadable consistency.
  3. Spread onto cooled donuts.
  4. Optional: Chill for 10-15 minutes before serving for a firmer set.
