What you need

Ingredients

  • Bananas, ripe • 354g (about 3 medium)
  • Egg White/Beaters • 96g
  • Applesauce • 112g
  • Sugar-free syrup • 45ml
  • Quick oats • 80g
  • Vanilla Whey Protein • 60g
  • Baking powder • 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon, ground • 1 tsp

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly spray with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together oats, protein powder, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, mash bananas, then stir in egg whites, applesauce, and syrup until smooth.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool completely before slicing. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
